Freehands Farm, formally Summit Farm, was purchased in 2002 with a very specific plan in mind.  Since then, we have been working towards accomplishing that plan and we are now going into our sixth growing season.

We have a 34’ x 96’ greenhouse that will be full of your favorite botanicals, as well as my uncommon and unique varieties of flowers and herbs.  We also offer a large selection of vegetable starts and a huge variety of perennials. 

The old calf house has been converted into a gift shop and is stocked with gardening tools, pots, homemade jams, beauty supplies, local handmade jewelry, local artist’s paintings and photography, and some very unique gift items.

 We have installed a certified commercial kitchen in the west end of the barn, in what used to be a tack room for horses.  The kitchen is available for rent to the pulic and other growers,  We are also proud to promote Candlelight Catering, a very professional and delicious addition to the farm.  They have been building their business here for three years and offer a wide variety of services.  Please visit them at CandelightCatering.com.       

We have a large variety of flowers grown on site for fresh cut arrangements.  Planning a wedding or special event?  Come and pick out your own flowers.  We can do all the arranging for you and we also deliver.

Our new reception area is a perfect spot to hold your special event.  The newly remodeled space with beautiful landscape is capable of seating 100 people.  (With plenty of room for extra tables and chairs on the lawn).  It is a very quaint and rustic yet elegant setting with open air space looking out over the landscape and watching spectacular sunsets.  It is truly a wonderful space. 

If you book your event now using all of our services you will receive 15% off your package price.  You can also choose to do things yourself – using the kitchen, cutting your own flowers, and just using the reception area for your event.
